Interactivity allows concepts to morph and develop while the video is running, creating a unique viewing experience where content is decided by both interaction and space. This interactivity inherently makes the work site-specific.We will learn techniques for separating video sequences and applying interactive aspects using archival footage, surveillance cameras, shot material, or even live video feeds. The workshop explores interactivity with cameras, sensors, and other devices to create responsive environments that blur the boundaries between the viewer, the image, and the space. The goal of the workshop is to create site-specific video installations to showcase at TeleVisionale, a film and series festival, which is taking place for the first time at Weimarhallefrom December 1–5.
