Qualifikationsziele:Die Studierenden kennen die wichtigsten mineralischen Bindemittel im Bauwesen, insbesondere zementbasierte Stoffsysteme für den Betonbau sowie Zement, Kalk und Calciumsulfat-Bindemittel zur Herstellung von Putz-, Mauer- und Estrichmörtel, Trockenbauelementen und Wandbaustoffen. Sie haben qualitative Kenntnisse bezüglich der bindemittelspezifischen CO2-Emission, Primärenergieverbrauch u.a. ökologischer Faktoren der Ausgangsstoffe für Beton und Mörtel. Sie verstehen die Herstellungsprozesse, Verarbeitung und Anwendung. Sie sind inder Lage, Bindemittel für konkrete Anwendungen korrekt unter den Aspekten der Funktionalität, Gebrauchstauglichkeit, Dauerhaftigkeit und Nachhaltigkeit auszuwählen und zu bewerten. Die Studierenden kennen die relevanten Prüf- und Untersuchungsmethoden der verschiedenen mineralischen Bindemittel.Lehrinhalte:Schwerpunkte: Zement, Kalk- und Gipsbindemittel sowie alternative Bindemittel; Zusammenhänge zwischen Rohstoffen und Herstellungsverfahren und den Eigenschaften daraus hergestellter Bindemittel sowie deren AnwendungsprodukteCourse aim:The students know the most important mineral binders in civil engineering, especially cement-based material systems for concrete construction as well as cement, lime and calcium sulphate binders for the production of plaster, masonry and screed mortar, dry construction elements and wall construction materials. They have qualitative knowledge regarding the binder-specific CO2 emission, primary energy consumption and other ecological factors of the raw materials for concrete and mortar. They understand the manufacturing processes, processing and application. They will be able to correctly select and evaluate binders for specific applications in terms of functionality, serviceability, durability and sustainability.
