In this seminar, the mechanisms of how language is interpreted and operated with in so-called artificial intelligence are made tangible. Visualized word embeddings are processes that make it possible to transform words into high-dimensional vectors. Semantic similarities between words are mathematically recorded so that words with similar meanings lie close to each other in a vector space. This innovative technology forms the basis for understanding language models such as ChatGPT and creates a unique environment in which visitors can directly experience how these technologies work.PLEASE NOTE: The seminar consists of a “Wissenschaftsmodul” and a “Fachmodul”, you need to participate/enroll in BOTH seminars.
